FIRST WAGON RIDE EVER!

Kaidence looks wonderful. I can't believe how great she looks. I put her in real clothes today and like a real baby she pooped all over them. She flunked her swallow study today but that is OK with time and some meds it should get better. Kaidence went on her first "just for fun" outing today. We took her on a wagon ride in the clean area of the PICU. She loved it and looked so proud of herself and yes, we did take a lot of pictures. I will see if Mike can post some for you to see. We feel so blessed that Kaidence is doing so very well. Those who never saw Kaidence so sick would never understand how far we have come. I am grateful for those that care for her and hope that they take some pride in how well she looks. They work so hard to care for Kaidence and her many needs. They have become like family to us and we are so thankful that they are in our lives.

That makes me want to jump for joy for all of you. You have taught me to appreciate the most simple of things. A sucker, a wagon ride, a new tooth, pooping all over your REAL clothes. Way to go Kaidence, family and hospital staff who are taking care of each other so amazingly well. Love you all.

It's nice to see that she is doing all of the things that a normal baby does. I remember when my boys were cutting teeth. Snotty noses, and fever were just part of the package. She is certainty experiencing all of those things. I bet that she was so cute on her wagon ride.
We continue to pray for all of you and Dr. and nurse that care for her.
I am so grateful that she is back on the transplant list. I feel that the Lord has a definite plan for her and when everything is right, a heart will become available that will be a perfect match for her. You are all such a wonderful example to all of us. Hang in there. We love you. Aunt Deb

Can't wait to see the pictures of the big wagon ride. Your whole family is just amazing and it's great that Kaidence got to experience some moments outside that hospital bed.
