Another morning has come. Today Kaidence is pretty sleepy after her fun playful day. They are going to start weening her off some of the narcotics. Her cardiologist came in last evening and said that she does not want Kaidence to be on all of the narcotics that she has been on. She feels that it is important that she interact with her family daily. So slowly they will take her off.
Today around 2:00-3:00 they are taking her in to have another pic line placed but this time in her thigh. The lines that she has going into her groin have started to leak and they need to pull them before infection takes place. Hopefully all will go well with that. Thank You to everyone who is keeping us in our prayers and helping our family out with meals. We are still holding out for a miracle either way. We are trying our best daily.

What an amazing little girl you have. She is one strong spirit. I am so glad to hear that she is doing better. I'm sure having that little smile on her face made your day. Isn't it interesting that a simple smile can make your day. we all need to do that more often.
I can't believe that is has been a year since mom died. I came home last night and went down the basement to get something. I stopped half way down the stairs. There was a familiar smell. I could smell pear scent. Like the lotion that we used on mom the last 4 weeks of her life. I went back up the stairs and the smell was gone, but when I went down again I could still smell it. I know that mom was close by. When I smell that familiar scent I feel that is her way of letting me know that she is close by.
I know that grandma is Kaidences guardian angel and that she keeps her in her loving arms. I am sure that Kaidence and grandma have some conversations as well.
We love you and we will continue to keep you in our prayers. Love, Aunt Deb
